Gordon Edmiston

Gord Edmiston is a REALTOR®  and Associate Broker who is dedicated to helping clients buy and sell residential and commercial properties in Edmonton, Alberta. With over 20 years of experience as a full time real estate professional, focusing on residential properties in Southwest & Central Edmonton. (but won't turn down the opportunity to help clients find commercial properties or their dream acreage property). He started his real estate career by winning the 2004 "Rookie of the Year" for new home sales in Edmonton and to the benefit of his clients, maintains strong connections to the new home industry.

His passion for real estate began on hearing Lucy's answer to Charlie Brown's ever important question, "What is it you want?"

          Her classic response: "Real Estate".

Or perhaps it was the influence of growing up in a real estate family with his grandmother, father, and brother all selling homes professionally.

Always one to listen before he speaks, Gord's strong communication and negotiation skills ensure that his clients get results. He is energized by helping his clients achieve their real estate goals whether they are new to the market, moving to a new stage in their lives, or seasoned investors.

He currently gives back to his community through committed volunteerism. Gord is the Haddow Area Ambassador to the Terwillegar Riverbend Advisory Council, serves on the Board of Directors for The Ridge Community League and The Edmonton Jazz Society/Yardbird Suite. As well, Gord is a member of the Government and Political Action Committee of the Realtors Association of Edmonton. He has previously served on the boards of the Boys and Girls Clubs/Big Brother Big Sisters of Edmonton and has volunteered with the Edmonton International Jazz and Fringe Festivals for decades. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Concordia University of Alberta.

Gord is passionate about music (especially jazz), Indian cuisine, exploring coffee shops and breweries across the province & beyond, and finding and supporting local gems in Edmonton. An avid home cook that loves to fire up his charcoal smoker and to delve into the world of fermentation.

Gord is a proud dad and husband that is happiest with his wife Amber-Leah raising their two elementary school aged children in their hometown.
