In her home country, Violet was a veterinarian and a Director of Sales & Marketing for a large food services company. In Canada, she has worked as an interpreter assisting phone companies in selling long distance packages into Europe. Violet has over 10 years of experience selling real estate and new homes, having worked with Sterling, MacLachlan & Mitchell & Greenboro Homes. Having been an integral part of a multiple award winning sales team that combined to sell over 300 new homes. In July of 2007 Violet made the transition from new home sales to a licensed Real Estate Agent.
Violet emigrated to Canada from the former Yugoslavia in 1990. She is widowed, having lost her husband to a long battle with cancer. On her own, she raised her two daughters that are now both young adults and graduates of the University of Alberta. Violet speaks several languages including; Serbo-Croatian, Hungarian, Bulgarian and English. As a result, she is able to help many people from her community to sell and purchase real estate. Violet loves selling real estate, especially being able to help people to achieve their dreams.
In her spare time, Violet loves to read, sew, travel, paint and watch tennis. She also teaches a rare form of German needlepoint known as Wiehler-Gobelin. Violet loves to spend quality time with close friends and her daughters. Violet has a passion for the culinary arts and loves to entertain and prepare large feasts for her friends and clients.
